Halotherapy: Where Breath, Salt, and Stillness Unite
Halotherapy, often referred to as Dry Salt Therapy, is an all-natural way to cleanse and detox your body. Because every day, our lungs and skin are exposed to bacteria, pollutants, and allergens in the air, which can adversely affect your health and overall wellbeing.
This device is a holistic approach that mimics the microclimate of a salt cave. Salt air is vaporized into micro-sized particles and dispersed into the air.
The patent-pending technology of the HALO ONE starts with a 3% pharmaceutical-grade saline solution. The solution is vaporized and then pushed through a Vibrating Mesh to create salt particles between 1-10 microns. The micro-sized salt particles are then dispersed into the air for you to breath in. (We recommend a maximum room size of 10’x10’ / 300*300cm)

The Origins of Dry Salt Therapy
Dry salt therapy, or halotherapy, may seem like a modern wellness trend, but its roots trace back centuries to the salt mines of Eastern Europe and Russia. Historically known as speleotherapy, this natural treatment involved inhaling salt-rich air within the unique microclimate of underground salt mines.
The therapeutic effects of salt first gained scientific attention in 1843 when Dr. Feliks Boczkowski, a Polish physician, observed that salt miners rarely suffered from respiratory ailments. These miners were unknowingly breathing in fine salt particles released into the air as they chipped and ground salt, creating a natural, healing atmosphere.
The subterranean environment of these salt mines also played a crucial role. With stable temperature, humidity, and air purity—free from common airborne irritants like pollen and radon—the salt mines became accidental wellness sanctuaries.
Inspired by his findings, Dr. Boczkowski established the first health resort at the Wieliczka Salt Mine in Poland. The idea quickly caught on, and similar underground salt sanatoriums began to emerge throughout Eastern Europe.
As word spread about the health benefits of salt therapy, it became clear that not everyone could access these remote locations. In response, Russian scientists and doctors sought to replicate the healing environment of salt mines. Their efforts led to the invention of the first halogenerator in 1976, a device that disperses microscopic salt particles into a controlled room—laying the foundation for modern-day halotherapy.
Today, dry salt therapy is accessible worldwide, bringing centuries of natural healing into wellness centers, spas, and even homes.
