WHOLE-BODY HYPERTHERMIA
What is Whole-body hyperthermia (WBH)?
Also known as systemic hyperthermia, is a therapeutic technique involving the controlled elevation of core body temperature to harness the healing effects of fever. Mild and moderate hyperthermia, especially when delivered through the Whole-body hyperthermia system.
This method is categorized into three levels based on temperature ranges:
✓ Mild WBH (<38.5°C)
✓ Moderate WBH (38.5°C–40.5°C)
✓ Extreme WBH (>40.5°C).
How does it work?
Whole-body hyperthermia system uses water-filtered infrared-A (wIRA) radiation, which mimics the skin-compatible heat of natural sunlight filtered by the Earth’s atmosphere. Developed by Prof. Manfred von Ardenne, this approach ensures safe, deep-tissue heating with uniform, patient-specific intensity, offering a natural, scientifically-backed way to support the body’s healing mechanisms.
Health Benefits:
✓ Improve circulation
✓ Enhance metabolic activity
✓ Reduce muscle tension
✓ Activate the immune system
