Is Wifi / Wireless Safe?

One of the biggest revolutions in internet tech, happened when we figured out how to connect our devices to the internet, wireless. This was fast adopted by the public, as it provided the luxury of mobility. No longer did the people need to be tied down to the radius of the wire. However, the drawbacks of this were not taken much into consideration.

Wi-fi has now become a vital part of our lives, with multitudes of devices in a household, connected to it. From computers to mobile phones to game consoles, tablets, smart home appliances, and much more, we have surrounded ourselves.

What we don’t realize is that Wi-fi Tech uses radio waves, to communicate with devices it is connected to. Typically, two radio-wave frequencies are used, depending on the amount of data being sent: 2.4 gigahertz and 5 gigahertz.

It is one of the main contributors to indoor electrosmog, or electro pollution, which causes long-term harm to health. All WiFi devices emit radio frequencies (RF), or microwave radiation. The exact same effect is in heating food in a microwave oven.

How does this Affects us?

While we can not see these invisible microwave frequencies, floating around us, it has an adverse effect on our body’s own natural frequencies.  These frequencies affect our tissues and cells.

There have been various debates regarding the safety of Wi-fi usage over the years, the international agency for research on cancer has found various evidence that linked certain health issues directly to the result of radiation exposure. The side effects can range from headaches, fatigue, and sleep disorder to even terminal diseases.

How to minimize this effect?

Wireless internet comes with easy accessibility and usage, however, our health and wellbeing need to be a priority and at the forefront. Switching to wired internet can mitigate most electro pollutants in the house.

Questions would arise on the inconvenience and feasibility of switching to wired internet. We are surrounded by Wi-fi signals wherever we go, malls, offices, or even the spa where we go to relax. So how is this feasible? Limiting your exposure, by distancing from areas with a lot of electrical and wireless devices, and also protecting yourself with shielding materials is one way to go. Shielding materials can be worn as a cap and cloth.

Start with your living space

Start with your living space and reduce the radiation there where you spend most of your recovery time. Connect your stationary devices to wired internet, using ethernet cables. Create a workstation if you do not have one, place your devices there (desktop computers, laptops). As they now have permanent space of their own, they do not require a Wi-fi connection, they can be made connected to wired internet. The same idea can be used for Smart TVs, Surveillance Cameras, gaming consoles, etc. There are ways to even connect your tablets and Phones to wired internet using a type C adapter.

Why a wired internet connection is an excellent alternative to WiFi?

A little inconvenience, which in time will be a force of habit, comes with great benefits. Wired internet is far more stable and secure than wireless, they also have little to no radiation emissions.

The stability comes from the fact that it is delivered through wires, and no data packets are lost in transmission. They provide stable uniform speed, which would make your time online more efficient when it comes to data uploading and downloading.

Wireless internet is not a secure source, hacking can be a simple task for anyone, they do not even need to be an expert. With wired internet that is a difficult task, which means you have a more secure platform.

As we know long-term exposure to Wi-Fi radiation causes serious health issues, including chronic conditions like diabetes, and cancer. In wired internet, the cables carry the message through them in an analog format which gets converted to digital at the modem of the computer this cuts down the radiation emission.

Moving forward

Going wired will take some time to get used to but the benefits are far more than the inconvenience. It is a personal choice that we need to make, the choice of health or convenience.

It is understandable that in this era relying completely on wired internet is not practical, we need to find a middle ground as we cannot completely off root wireless internet from our lives, at least not yet. This is why we suggest starting from your living space to reduce the radiation you are exposed to.

In the meantime also consider investing in good quality Electrosmog or EMF protection products. The products are easy to adopt into our daily lives and protect against electrosmog with natural frequencies. There is a sea product which claims it can shield your body from radiation, therefore we would like to stress on getting quality products. Read through the studies and reviews of the product before investing in one.

For starters, we would suggest Waveguard devices with Qi technology. The Qi-Shield is the perfect introduction to Qi technology, both mobile and stationary. Carry it with you everywhere at home, in the office, or even when traveling. There are many studies and certified researches that have shown results while testing against electrosmog and their effectiveness.

Waveguard has various products –
  • Personal EMF protection device with a coverage radius of 2.5m – Qi – Shield
  • Personal EMF protection device with a coverage radius of 1 m – Qi – Me
  • Home EMF protection device with a coverage radius of 7.5 m – Qi Home
